How many of you carry an electronic dictionary with you? We have long noticed that most folks in the East do that, so it is no surprise to see yet another electronic dictionary in the form of the SR-A1001M debut in the Land of the Rising Sun. To get an idea of just how portable this is, it measures a mere 116.2mm x 72.8mm x 12~18.5mm, tipping the scales at just 145 grams. Interestingly enough, there will be just 3,000 units of the SR-A1001M from SII available, leaving us to wonder the reason behind that move. Do they not have the confidence that it will sell more than that amount? Ah well, at least we know that this veritable electronic tome comes with a 4” VGA display.
