XpanD X101 Series 3D Glasses
Posted on Feb 5, 09 12:57 AM PDT

XpanD has just released its latest pair of 3D glasses, the X101 Series. These glasses will rely on a core 3D viewing technology known as “pi-cell” which consists of a specialized, fast-switching liquid crystal cell can offer rapid stereoscopic shutter action to deliver alternate right and left eye images. These glasses might not be what the fashion doctor ordered, but they do seem to deliver theoretically. Another reason for the bright red color which it comes in is to reduce the chances of viewers stealing these glasses once the 3D movie is over. Each pair will feature a streamline appearance that optimizes guest experience and comfort. Do you think 3D movies in cinemas will catch on?
