Acer Aspire One In France Gets 16GB SSD
Posted on Mar 5, 09 08:19 AM PDT

Those living in France who are about to pick up the Acer Aspire One D110-DB netbook will be able to benefit from the inclusion of a 16GB solid state drive (SSD) instead of a 160GB hard drive found in similar models sold elsewhere. It really depends on what your need is actually - if you're extremely particular about performance and don't bother carrying anything but Word and Excel files on the Aspire One, then sticking to SSD is a much better idea, but for folks who feel safe psychologically with more space will fall for the 160GB hard drive instead. Apart from the change in storage medium, everything else remains the same including an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, Wi-Fi connectivity, 1GB RAM and a 10" display. Powered by Windows XP Home, you can pick up this SSD-equipped Aspire One for 299 Euros.
