We know about PC case modding, but console case modding isn’t as huge as its PC counterpart. Still, that doesn’t mean a smaller following will result in less impressive mods, as evident by the Alien Assimilation PS3 you see here. Tattoo artist/casemodder GivinTats came up with this eerie looking case using layers of epoxy putty and painfully hand-sculpting them. Epoxy putty, by the way, is similar material used to mend dented car fenders so you have a better idea on just how hardy this mod will be. When dried, the shell is as hard as metal, and this is where Chaos Black paint comes in to complete the Alien look. Would be nice to have a facehugger version in the future, looking as though it was about to jump onto your face whenever you fail to defeat the last level of any game.
