Apple Netbook Rumor
Posted on Mar 9, 09 11:29 AM PDT

Could Apple actually jump into the netbook game? While some people think that this is not likely, Digitimes reported that Taiwanese touch panel company Wintek will soon supply touch panels for Apple's new netbook, with shipments to begin in the third quarter of the year. Apparently, Quanta has been appointed to be the manufacturer of the new netbook as well, but apart from those two nuggets of information, we don't have any other details concerning this potential blockbuster. What do you think of this - fact or fiction? All in all, the third quarter timing will definitely go down well with Apple's WWDC conference that is happening this June.
