Averatec D1133 All-In-One PC

Just as Dell released its Studio One 19 (read our hands-on), Averatec is also jumping to this segment with the Averatec D1133, an 18.4" (1680x945) all-in-one (AIO) computer that starts at $600 and that looks like a monitor glued on top of a netbook... Here's what's in the Averatec D1133:
- AMD Athlon X2 1.5Ghz
- 18.4" display (1680x945, 16:9) with 1.3 Megapixel webcam
- 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, DVD drive
- USB 2 (4), eSATA (1), Audio in/out, 10/100 Ethernet, DVI, 4:1 flash reader, WIFI-G
- ATI Radeon HD 3200 GPU
- Vista Home Basic
Overall, it is less powerful than the Dell Studio One 19 and it has no touch option, but it might be "good enough" for many basic things like browsing the web, email, and decoding videos in full screen. We prefer the design of the Studio One, and of course the iMac - what about you?

Oh wait, there's something that I like about this computer: its display can be tilted to a complete horizintal position, which makes it easy to sink into a table or a desk... it might be cool for DYI people or for small businesses. Now, I regret that there's no touch option even more! All the details
