Custom Cell Phone Charger

Apart from using a solar-powered charger in the wild, how else are you going to keep your handset juiced so that it can be used in times of emergency? Chechen soldiers have stumbled upon a rather brilliant solution - they have created a custom cell phone charger, where turning the crank will result in pulling the strings to activate the pulleys. This will in turn generate electricity in the blue-colored capacitor so that the phone can have some much-needed juice. It will take a fair bit of muscle to actually see some results, but hey - that's much easier than training a hawk to carry your message or learning how to send and read smoke signals, right?
