Datel Wildfire Generic Controller

Those who feel that the SIXAXIS controller for the PS3 failed to live up to its expectations might want to throw some money at the Wildfire from Datel. It looks like a flattened version of the original boomerang PS3 controller concept, wielding the whole lot of PS3 functions and more. In addition to tilt sensitivity, vibration and Bluetooth connectivity, the Wildfire also boasts old school variable turbo functionality and a design that is sleek. What would make us think twice would be the two AA batteries required to power this thing, which would work best with rechargeables like the Sanyo Eneloop. Would you give this $50 Wildfire a try?
