Take a look at your donut - do you think it is able to do more than just fulfil your sugar craving for the moment? Some boffin has struck an inspirational moment by using both a donut and tea to create a simple solar cell. Apparently, powdered sugar contains titanium dioxide nanoparticles, a similar substance that is also used in paint. When that powder is subsequently coated with an organic dye (such as those colorful chemicals in passionfruit tea) it will be able to be utilized as a light-absorbing layer of a photovoltaic device. Don't expect your tea time snacks to power your cell phone anytime though, as while they're much cheaper and more durable compared to traditional photovoltaics, they're also less efficient.
