Fortune Telling Watch
Posted on Mar 25, 09 10:50 AM PDT

Who would've thought that modern timekeeping technology could merge with the ancient art of fortune telling? Swiss watchmaker Borgeaud thinks that is possible by hooking up with Indian fortune tellers in order to craft a watch which is supposed to tell the future. Apparently, whenever things are about to take a turn for the worse, a bedpan-shaped section located on the watch will turn brown. The Borgeaud site touts that "the watch automatically displays a daily 90-minute period called the Raju Kaal, which is believed to be a terrible time to make important decisions or start new projects." Once the dark astral forces have left the area, the watch will then revert to its normal color. No idea which 650 people will be crazy enough to fork out $2,000 for this timepiece. We wonder whether it comes with an idiot detector.
