iTunes HD Movies Do Not Play Nice With Older Monitors

Looks like iTunes HD movies do not respect older monitors that do not support HDCP connectivity, so folks who are rocking to a Cinema Display that was released before Apple's 24" LED model are out of luck. That basically rules out users who are using older DVI and VGA monitors as well, so the only solution out of this quandary would be to purchase a HDCP-capable computer, preferably a Mac. Another way out could be to transfer the file to an older iTunes-authorized machine as Apple isn't too serious with the whole HDCP business in that department. Alternatively, you can opt to play the movie in standard definition mode, but that sure defeats the purpose of downloading a High Definition movie in the first place, eh?
