Mood Wall Boasts 2500 LEDs
Posted on Mar 5, 09 07:39 PM PDT

Trust to find the Mood Wall in the city of Amsterdam, as this underpass is adorned with 2,500 LEDs, measuring 24 meters in length. The whole idea of the Mood Wall being located in a pedestrian tunnel is to interact with ordinary people passing by by improving the atmosphere within while making folks feel a little less grumpy, hoping to inject an extra skip in your step even as you woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning. The curves in the wall will go some way in making it less vulnerable to graffiti while improving visibility at the same time. Pretty neat, but hopefully it will be powered by some other form of green technology as well.
