What a mouthful to proclaim Chinavasion's latest offering for those who are looking for a retro portable gaming solution - the Multi Platform Portable Gaming Entertainment Station. It does not resemble the standard issue DS in any way, but it does share many similarities with the Game Boy Micro which is a generation back. Nice to know this device doesn't just do Game Boy games though, as it is able to handle ROMs from NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance, Neo-Geo and selected Capcom arcade systems with aplomb thanks to its 4GB internal memory. A miniSD memory card slot is there for expansion purposes, and the 2.8" display at 320 x 240 resolution ought to serve you well. Remember, most ROMs for the above mentioned systems are illegal if downloaded off the Net, but $87.31 for a system that does all that? The devil knocks on our doors...
