People More Concerned About Eye-Camera Than Surveillance Cameras
Posted on Mar 5, 09 12:25 PM PDT
Rob Spence, a Canadian filmmaker wants to have this tiny camera installed in this prosthetic eye for a project about surveillance in society. Not surprisingly (to us), people were more worried about his eye-camera than about surveillance cameras in the street.
"In Toronto there are 12,000 cameras. But the strange thing I discovered was that people don't care about the surveillance cameras, they were more concerned about me and my secret camera eye because they feel that is a worse invasion of their privacy." (Rob Spence).
