Samsung Movies Launched

Samsung Mobile has just announced that it will be rolling out its latest service known as Samsung Movies. This dedicated cinema storefront will be powered by digital movie retailer Acetrax, where consumers can now download and view their favorite films and TV shows using nothing but compatible Samsung cell phones, laptops or PCs. You have the choice to rent or own these downloads, although we think watching movies on your cell phone display isn't exactly the most entertaining experience. There will be more than half a thousand titles at launch from various studios including Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal and Momentum Pictures, and with titles such as The Dark Knight and Iron Man, you're spoilt for choice. Samsung will thrown in another 500 titles before the first quarter is over, rolling out in the UK and Germany first before it hits the other markets.
