SixthSense Gestural Interface System

SixthSense doesn’t allow you to see dead people, but this wearable gestural interface helps augment the physical world around us by introducing the element of digital information where natural hand gestures can be used to interact with such information. Imagine snapping images with your fingers, zooming the map or even checking and replying your e-mail with nothing else but your fingers as your wrist device lets you view all the proceedings. In essence, the SixthSense prototype consists of a pocket projector, a mirror and a camera. All hardware components are bunched together in a pendant-like mobile wearable device, while the projector and camera are connected to the mobile computing device located in the user’s pocket.
