SLI Enabled On Motherboard Without Official Certification

Taiwanese magazine PC Home Advance has recently published an article that will definitely ruffle the feathers of folks at NVIDIA, as this article teaches one to enable SLI support on a motherboard without official NVIDIA SLI certification. For those who are wondering what the hoo-ha is all about, NVIDIA came up with a policy that required motherboard manufacturers to cough up extra dough for the certification if they wanted SLI support to the Intel X58 chipset-based motherboards. For those who want to take the shady path, you can always flash GIGABYTE's EX58-UD4 motherboard with the latest F6 GIGABYTE UD4P BIOS, where SLI support can then be enabled on the cheaper UD4 model. Just bear in mind that flashing your board with a different BIOS will probably void your warranty.
