Vaino Knocks Off Vaio P Shamelessly
Posted on Mar 4, 09 06:30 PM PDT
The Sony Vaio P has not been out for too long and it has already been paid homage to with a clone - the Vaino. At first glance, the Vaino does seem to offer better specifications in certain aspects, including a 10.2" display, a faster Atom processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity and a multi-format memory card reader. Unfortunately, we're not too sure whether anyone will bite or not as toting a clone around surely drops your market value among your peers, and we believe the manufacturers would be much better off by releasing a device that looks different from the Vaio P with above-mentioned specifications - at least there won't be any stigma of being a clone here.
