Verizon To Release New Phones

What's the point of being a cell phone carrier if you aren't going to entice the masses with a bunch of new handsets, right? Well, Verizon will tease comsumers with three more handsets in the works - first off we have the Nokia Intrigue 7205 that takes on a green slant with its Energy Star compliance as well as an alert to inform you to remove the charger once it is fully juiced up. In addition, you will get environmentally-themed wallpapers with this as well. As for the Samsung U490 (also known as the Trance), it is set to mesmerize being a slider model that will replace the outgoing Juke as the music-centric phone of choice. Too bad the memory has been halved to just 1GB, but good thing the Trace comes with a microSDHC memory card slot to drive the total memory up to 17GB. Lastly the LG VX1100 will also be released in due time boasting many a function that other smartphones already have including a multi-touch display, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and a microSDHC memory card slot.
