Warner Bros Offer On Demand DVD Service

The battle for downloadable and streaming content among home users heat up, this time round with Warner Bros joining in on the fray that has already seen contenders like Netflix, Vudu and Hulu. This giant Hollywood studio aims to hit one back for its brethren by offering part of their movie archive of more than 6,800 films in a new “made-to-order” service. While only 1,200 of these films have been released since Warner Bros entered the DVD business back in 1997, you can now place an order for these DVDs for just $19.95, including shipping - alternatively, you can always take the downloading route if you have a fairly speedy connection and a kick-ass computer system.
