Wistron Firstbook Powered By Snapdragon
Posted on Mar 27, 09 07:44 AM PDT

The Wistron Firstbook will have the ARM Snapdragon processor running within, and also holds the distinction of being the first Linux-based netbook to do so. Some people might even claim that the Firstbook does share some resemblance with a Sony Vaio P, featuring integrated 3G WWAN connectivity, an 11.1" widescreen display, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support. We're currently on the lookout to see whether the Wistron Snapdragon netbook will make it to the masses, or is it just a demonstration platform for ARM. We'd of course think it would be the former as it would be a pity if this was just a prototype.
