ZorroGPS 3.0 Now Available For Download

ZorroGPS might have a slew of problems with the first version of its software, but has since then undergone many a correction to bring it up to par with other models in the market, where version 3.0 is the latest available. This new version will be accompanied by the most recent Navteq maps availabled, dated as of this month. Just like its namesake, the ZorroGPS is zippy, taking around 5 seconds to calculate a route of 2,000 kilometers, while taking just a second of your life for route recalculation - nifty for those who tend to make wrong turns in unfamiliar places. In addition, ZorroGPS can also overlay satellite maps. Depending on which region you're at, ZorroGPS will retail at different price points as shown below.

• With one of the 22 regions of France: 17 €
• With France: 19 €
• With Europe: 29 €
• With the United States: 27 €

Other features include speed limits, realistic road signs and lane information are optional, so the final package might cost you a fair bit. Currently, ZorroGPS plays nice with smartphones that are powered by Windows Mobile, but word has it Nokia and BlackBerry compatible versions will be out soon.
