Apple sure is ambitious, having just released their Billion App Countdown promotion in order to usher in the one-billionth app downloaded from the App Store. This unique marketing angle will offer a single combined prize of a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card, a 32GB iPod touch, a Time Capsule and a 17" MacBook Pro to the lucky winner. You can enter this contest through an app download or via a non-purchase online entry which ought to be sent after the download of the 999,999,999th app. All winners will be listed online within 10 days after the one-billionth download, so stay tuned. Just make sure you're at least 13-years old to qualify and are a legal resident of the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.
