Creative Zen MX Is Official

Creative offers yet another portable media player to its lineup with the Zen MX, where you can choose from 8GB or 16GB models. Don't expect this to challenge the iPod's dominance anytime soon, although it does come with a respectable set of features including :-

• 2.5" LCD display at 320 x 240 resolution
• MP3, WMA (with DRM) and Audible 4 audio formats
• Supports CMV video format
• SDHC memory card slot
• Integrated FM radio tuner
• Voice recording capability

Expect to see the Creative Zen MX arrive at Japanese stores from May 5th onwards, with the 8GB and 16GB models going for $102 and $144, respectively. There is no word on whether it will arrive Stateside or not.
