Dolphin Translator In The Works

It is heart warming to know that a British scientist is currently developing a device which is touted to to represent dolphin communication in a similar format as that of hieroglyphs, although there is no guaranteed sign of success just yet. It is exciting to know that should we be able to communicate with dolphins, it would go a long way in helping us understand the ocean's treasures even more. The device is known as the Cymascope, where it will enable dolphin vocalizations to vibrate a very small pool of water, which is subsequently converted into a graphic on the screen by special software. This visual aspect helps one understand what dolphins are trying to say since we can't hear most of their vocal range anyway. Do you think the scientist will succeed?
