Fujitsu USB Memory Device Technology Targets Security
Posted on Apr 17, 09 10:27 AM PDT

Information in the wrong hands can be a very deadly tool, regardless of whether it is a tiff between two lovers or a nation who is spying on another, hoping to unearth national secrets that could lead to a country's downfall. Well, Fujitsu knows all too well that the digital world is fraught with such dangers and have done their bit in making it a little bit more safe for everyone by introducing a USB memory device technology which is able to erase data from the USB flash drive automatically after a preset amount of time has passed. In addition, they have also worked on a file redirect technology that makes sure the data from the USB memory device has only one place to be stored - a selected server beforehand for a much more secure corporate environment.
