Google Street View Protest
Posted on Apr 3, 09 12:19 PM PDT

A bunch of Buckinghamshire residents decided to block a Google Street View car when it was trying to go around to capture images of their village. According to 43-year-old Paul Jacobs, he rounded up a bunch of neighbors upon noticing the Google Street View car, and deemed their angry protest a success in forcing the vehicle to make a U-turn instead of completing its mission. According to Jacobs, Street View is a "burglar's dream" in his "affluent" area, and he is pretty touchy about folks capturing images of his home without his consent.
