High Road Aerocar

A flying car is still the stuff of fantasy, or is it? Apparent not, as Leigh Aerosystems’ latest concept is the flying automobile known as the “High Road.” This aerocar looks to be inspired by Molt Taylor’s Aerocar, which still remains as the only certified airplane in history which is road-legal in the US. The High Road has already completed initial wind tunnel tests at the San Diego Air and Space Museum 12-foot tunnel with great success, leading to more detailed mechanical and structural design. Some of the key flight operational and performance goals for the High Road aerocar include 180 mph cruise speed at 15,000 ft., 20,000 ft ceiling and a 500-mile range. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this will cost a bomb when it is finally released.
