iTunes Introduce Variable Pricing Model

Gone are the days where you are able to budget your monthly music expenditure on iTunes using the number of tracks as a benchmarks, as Apple has just introduced a variable pricing model on its iTunes Store, where various songs are going for $0.69, $0.99 and $1.29. Needless to say, most of the top-ranked songs fall under the $1.29 category, and these include the top-three most-downloaded songs, specifically “Boom Boom Pow” by Black Eyed Peas, “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga, and “Right Round” by Flo Rida. For those who want something more stable, there is always Amazon who has retained their $0.99/song policy, but who are we to say that this price structure will last?
