The jury still seems to be still out concerning the effectiveness of Magicjack, a low-cost, plug-and-play telephony service that costs just $39.99 with one year of service already thrown in to get you started. Since its release, users have benefitted from over 700 bug fixes as well as improved customer service, but there is even better news in store - the new Magicjack Scoop will be out sometime later this year at best or early next year at worst. The Magicjack Scoop will rely on femtocell technology that allows users to shuffle their GSM phone calls through a magicJack in order to save minutes and boost indoor call quality. This wireless connection will hitch a ride on a portion of the cellular spectrum, and will cost a few dollars more compared to the current setup. Any takers?
