Mitac of Japan will be rolling out its latest portable navigation device which will target motorcycle riders - a group who has been sidelined most of the time when it comes to navigation with the help of GPS technology. This new model will be known as the Mio C523 V2, boasting a rider mode function which is able to indicate specific directions to follow at multiple intersections on a single screen with liberal use of arrows. This will help reduce the time spent looking at the display, allowing the rider to concentrate more on the road instead. Mitac has set the Mio C523's price at approximately $450, and the device is equipped with a 1-Seg TV tuner in addition to a 4.3" touchscreen LCD display, Windows CE operating system and a SiRF Technology GPS chipset.
