Panasonic SC-HC-Series iPod D-Docks

Panasonic decided that it is a good idea to jump aboard the iPod bandwagon by releasing the SC-HC-Series iPod D-Docks that come in the form of the SC-HC3 and SC-HC4. What are their differences? Well, apart from having unique colors, the latter does boast the inclusion of an SD memory card slot. You will also be able to rip music off your CDs into the SD/SDHC card directly without using some sort of software, and doing so shouldn’t take too long due to 8x speeds of transfer. Each dock will also come with two 2.6″ diameter speakers and a 40W stereo amplifier for crisp audio. Other features include a built-in AM/FM radio tuner, a 3.5mm auxiliary input jack and a dispaly. While the iPhones are not listed as being supported, they could work at some basic level we suppose. The Panasonic SC-HC3 and SC-HC4 will retail for $350 and $400, respectively, when they arrive in Japan this April 18th.
