Test Drive Windows 7 RC1 For One Year

Microsoft's Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 should be available to consumers for testing next week, and you should know that Microsoft will let people run it freely until June 2010. Doesn't it sound much better than the usual 30-day trials? You have guessed, this won't last forever. As soon as Windows 7 becomes a commercial product, we'll be back to the old ways, so if you want to test-drive it, keep an eye open.

Trustedreviews points out that there is no upgrade path from this release candidate to the final version. That pretty much mean that you will have to re-install at some point. Hum... Microsoft should really work on a better migration path, like... Apple has?
