Touch-Display Coke Machine Running Windows
Posted on Apr 6, 09 02:26 PM PDT

Coca Cola is coming up with a Windows-powered vending machine that will gather more statistics than any other vending machine before it. The machine will not only offer more types of drinks and flavors of Coke, it will also know what was sold (and when), providing valuable intel to Coca-Cola's marketing HQ. The vending machine will also alert the restaurant’s owner, and Coca-Cola, when one of the cartridges is near-empty. The downside (other than being spied on) is that customers did experience a learning curve. We think that the touch-screen is pitiful, when compared to Samsung's (concept) coke vending machine.
