Asus Eee PC Seashell Announced
Posted on May 5, 09 08:27 AM PDT

Asus has just announced the Eee PC Seashell - a netbook that comes in an opalescent glossy exterior, manufactured through the use of In-Mold Roller technology. In fact, the surface will simulate the effects of light sprinkling of fine sand on the exterior of a seashell. Doesn't sound too much like a businessperson's netbook, eh? Well, opening it is somewhat akin to ptying open an oyster, but you won't find any pearls inside apart from the following :-
- 10" LED-backlit WSVGA glare-type display
- Ergonomically designed keyboard
- 160GB 2.5" SATA II hard drive
- 10GB online Eee Storage
- Wi-Fi-n connectivity
- Multitouch trackpad
