AT&T Craves For Palm Pre

Is AT&T courting trouble by wanting to carry the Palm Pre once the smartphone's exclusivity with Sprint ends? We still don't know what Apple has to say to this should it happen and the Palm Pre having moved tons of units, but that seems to be the direction AT&T are heading in a recent WSJ interview with Chief Executive Randall Stephenson. Having said that, the Pre that AT&T offers would be the GSM version instead of the CDMA-styled Pre from Sprint.
