Avago Technologies has announced a spanking new high-performance laser navigation sensor known as the ADNS-9500 that will find purpose in high-end, professional gaming applications. It comes with a superior navigation engine that makes way for extremely high-speed motion detection, alongside high resolution to make precise tracking a cinch even under the most high-pressure moments in-game. Expect to see the new laser sensor to be used in upcoming corded and cordless gaming laser mice, optical trackballs and a variety of motion input devices that will not compromise on precise, high-speed tracking across a wide range of surfaces.
