Canonical Makes Android Apps Run on Ubuntu, Might Open New Market

Software developer Canonical wants to make Android apps (designed for phones) run on Ubuntu, a desktop variant of Linux. You can effectively think of it as an Android emulator and it is at the prototype stage right now and there are many challenges left. If the project was to be completed according to plans, it might open the doors to a whole new market for Android developers and the Android Market.
