Eee PC T91 Dissected By FCC

The Asus Eee PC T91 convertible netbook is almost ready for a release to the commercial market, since its FCC page has been updated with a slew of new external photos as well as the tablet netbook's innards for geeks to salivate over. Selected models will include GPS receivers, although we're not sure which are the lucky countries to benefit from that. There is also enough space to slot in a SIM card which reeks of integrated 3G modem as well. RAM can be increased for a performance boost, while 3rd party SSDs can join in the, er, party for even more power to the user. Strangely enough, the battery is Apple-style - it cannot be removed, making us wonder whether this will be a sore point with users or not.
