iPhone Tracks Students In University
Posted on May 18, 09 10:49 PM PDT

Tokyo-based Aoyama Gakuin University’s School of Social Informatics lives up to its name by doing something radical - it makes sure students really attend their lectures and classes by tracking down the students' iPhones, thanks to a custom-built application. Not only that, it enables students to download podcasts of past lectures so that they won't miss out on anything essential while catching up on their sleep in their dorms the day earlier. Free iPhones is certainly an attractive way to increase the enrolment figures on your campus, that's for sure.
