Nike+iPod Modded To Unlock Doors
Posted on May 28, 09 05:39 AM PDT

It will take a fair bit of time before those cool, sliding doors with befuddling locks from sci-fi movies make their way to the real world, but until that day arrives some time in the future, we will just have to make do with what we have today. Of course, unless, you're like Nate who prefers to live out a keyless life - by hacking together a Nike+iPod device and key fob, complete with an Arduino Pro Mini, dubbing the completed device the iFOB. All he needs to do now is walk close to his car to unlock the doors. A keyless-entry system so to speak - something other higher end luxury vehicles already have.
