Panasonic Wants To Out Android Phone Outside Of Japan
Posted on May 21, 09 08:30 PM PDT

Nice to know that Panasonic has plans to introduce a new Android-powered handset in countries other than Japan, according to Keisuke Ishii, director of the Mobile Terminal Business Unit at Panasonic Mobile Communications, who mentioned that “We are seriously considering developing an Android-based handset and entering overseas mobile phone markets in fiscal 2010.” Chances are this Panasonic-branded Android handset will be launched in Europe as well as North America, and it would be interesting to see what kind of specifications are thrown in to make the cut. Will Panasonic retain all the super-duper high end features as found in phones for their homeland, or will they release a slightly gimped version?
