Phoenix Technologies has come up with the Phoenix Freeze software that makes sure your laptop remains secure whenever you walk away from it without having to go through pesky fingerprint swipes or passwords. All you need is a Bluetooth-enabled cellphone and notebook and you're good to go. This always-on Bluetooth proximity system will automatically lock down a notebook whenever the user walks away from it, and this range can also be edited according to your preference (of course, it works within the limitations of Bluetooth coverage).
