Pixel Qi Parades new Displays

Pixel Qi has started to parade its latest line of displays that will consume less energy compared to your standard LCD display. These screens will boast two modes - a backlit one with full color saturation, while the ePaper mode will ditch the backlight for less energy consumption. Also, the latter mode makes the display much easier to read when outdoors in bright sunlight compared to most other computer displays. What you see here is a Pixel Qi display that was modified to accomodate an Acer Aspire One in ePaper mode outdoors. Well, DIY enthusiasts and modders will definitely look forward to this in the near future as they attempt to modify their respective netbooks.
