SOLAQUA Concept
Posted on May 14, 09 08:22 AM PDT

The SOLAQUA concept was concocted by designer Jason Lam, where it introduces a passive method to purify water with the help of both heat and UV rays. Basically, each petal that extends from the main unit is able to hold a handful of clear tubes of water, where each of them measure up to 10 liters of the life-giving liquid. The water within will be bombarded by the sun throughout the day, where it will harness solar power to boil them so that the water becomes safe to drink. In addition, the SOLAQUA also comes with an integrated filter of sari cloth to further purify its contents before drinking.
