UK Government Works On Smart Meter Plans
Posted on May 12, 09 05:21 AM PDT

The UK Government is working hard to make sure that all UK homes will be fitted with a smart meter by 11 years' time, and the whole point is to make everyone aware about climate change and the adverse impact on our environment if we use electricity frivolously. We guess this is a noble effort as instantaneous feedback on our energy consumption can encourage more efficient behavior, but having smart meters all over the place will be a futile effort if the public are not educated to make the most out of these meters.
