Verizon Wireless To Launch enV Touch On June 5th

Verizon Wireless aims to steal Sprint's thunder and their Palm Pre debut by releasing the enV Touch a day earlier. Well, we don't suppose this will do much to detract folks from being attracted to the Palm Pre, although Voyager fans who are loyal to their handset make might find the enV Touch to be interesting as it comes with the following :-

• 3" internal display
• On-screen keyboard
• External 3" display at 800 x 480 resolution
• 3.2-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens
• 3.5mm headset jack
• EVDO Rev A connectivity
• microSDHC memory card slot

Sounds as though the $149.99 price point after a $70 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract will be a good buy. What do you think?
