Wipe-Up Bug Robot
Posted on May 7, 09 08:00 PM PDT
The Fukitorimushi, or when translated to English, is known as the wipe-up bug. This autonomous robot functions pretty much like a Roomba, although it moves about in a rather unorthodox manner that might send your skin crawling. As it stands, it is already weird enough without the presence of the microfiber cloth wrapped around it, but the final product might even give your kids nightmares where you think about it. The Wind-Up Bug robot is able to charge itself whenever it runs low on juice, and does its job so thoroughly that it will inform you via LED whenever it stumbles upon an extra-dirty spot that needs a little extra inchworming across.
