Acer could soon overtake Dell as the second largest PC manufacturer in the world sometime this quarter. After all, this is in line with Acer's growth alongside their marketshare of 11.6% last quarter, while Dell's was a mere 2% more. How the mighty have fallen would be some of your thoughts, with the US ceding ground to other players in the market from various countries. This is rather surprising news as not many people would have given Acer the opportunity to reach the lofty heights of where it is now back when it was a fledgling company.
