Acer Netbooks To Dual Boot
Posted on Jun 5, 09 09:36 AM PDT

Acer will be shipping Android-powered netbooks next year that will also be able to dual boot with Windows XP, depending on the types of applications that you want to use at that moment, according to Acer chairman JT Wang. We guess that most manufacturers prefer to play it safe until a clear cut winner is declared, as the same goes for HTC and their continued support for both Windows Mobile and Android-powered handsets. After all, it would be folly to make mistakes that would affect the company's bottomline especially at a time like this, so hopefully consumer acceptance of the Android platform will be clearer in the future.
